経済産業省は、本実証事業全体の設計について専門的見地からの助言等を通じて本実証事業の成果の最大化を図ること、及び、今後の経済産業省によるWeb3.0 関連政策を議論することを目的として、アドバイザリーボードを設置しました。アドバイザリーボードでは、日本におけるWeb3.0 産業の活性化のために、実証事業において重視すべきポイントの検討や、今後の経済産業省によるWeb3.0 関連政策及び民間団体等における取組についての議論等を行います。

アドバイザリーボードのメンバーは、Web3.0・ブロックチェーン領域における法律、会計・税務、技術、国際、コミュニティ等に知見がある有識者として下記10名に決定しました。なお、2024年4月4日に第1回アドバイザリーボード、2024年4月30日に第二回アドバイザリーボードを実施しており、その内容は非公開となりますが、実証事業全体の成果報告書については今後公開を予定しています。

本事業において実証事業を公募する５テーマに関する公募要領・審査基準等については、アドバイザリーボードの意見を踏まえて設計されております。

METI has established an Advisory Board aimed at maximizing the outcomes of the Pilot Project through expert advice on the overall project design and to deliberate on future Web 3.0-related policies. The board focuses on identifying key priorities for the Pilot Project to invigorate the Web 3.0 industry in Japan, and discusses upcoming policies related to Web 3.0 and initiatives by private entities.

The Advisory Board consists of ten members who are experts in various aspects of Web 3.0 and blockchain, including legal, accounting and taxation, technology, international affairs, and community engagement. The first and second meetings of the Advisory Board were held on April 4, 2024, and April 30, 2024, respectively. Although the details of these meetings are confidential, a comprehensive report on the results of the Pilot Project is planned for release after closing that.

The call for proposals under this project, which covers six themes, has been structured based on insights from the Advisory Board, ensuring that the guidelines and evaluation criteria align with expert recommendations.
